Open call 2019: i progetti selezionati / selected projects

Fotografia Europea continua a promuovere la partecipazione di artisti e curatori nati o residenti in Europa aprendo una Open Call che li invita a presentare progetti relativi al tema dell’edizione.
Un appuntamento oramai consolidato che risponde ad una reale esigenza del mondo artistico contemporaneo, come dimostra la partecipazione da tutta Europa da parte di giovani artisti e non solo.

Anche quest’anno sono arrivati innumerevoli i progetti arrivati e la giuria, composta da Ilaria Speri, Krzysztof Candrowicz e diretta da Walter Guadagnini, ha fatto una lunga selezione per trovare quelli da inserire nel programma del festival. I progetti selezionati vanno così ad ampliare la visione del tema Legami. Intimità, relazioni, nuovi mondi.

La scelta della giuria è ricaduta su questi progetti che saranno esposti durante Fotografia Europea 2019, dal 12 Aprile al 09 Giugno:

  • I wish I knew your name, Japan di Pierfrancesco Celada (Italia)
    una riflessione su come la modernizzazione e i cambiamenti ambientali cambiano le nostre vite che parte dall’esplorazione della megalopoli Tokyo-Nagoya-Osaka
  • 100 Hectares of Understanding di Jaakko Kahilianiemi (Finlandia)
    un incontro intimo e multiforme con la foresta finlandese
  • The Tapestry In My Room di Lucie Khahoutian (Armenia)
    tra collage e fotografia la serie illustra la profonda dicotomia della sua visione del mondo

 

Questo è solo un piccolo accenno di quello che vedrete a Fotografia Europea 2019, vi aspettiamo dal 12 aprile a 09 giugno 2019, giornate inaugurali 12 – 14 aprile, Reggio Emilia.

Fotografia Europea continues to promote the participation of European or European-based artists and curators with an Open Call that invites them to submit photographic projects that creatively explore the theme of the year.
A consolidated event that answers to a real need of the contemporary art world, proved by the large patecipation that goes on every year from all over Europe.

Also this year there are so many projects arrived, the jury composed by Ilaria Speri, Krzysztof Candrowicz and chaired by Walter Guadagnini, made a long selection to find those projects that open the gaze of the theme BONDING. Intimacy, relationships, new worlds.

The jury has chosen these projects which will be shown during Fotografia Europea 2019, from April 12 to June 09:

  • I wish I knew your name, Japan di Pierfrancesco Celada (Italia)
    an investigation to highlight the problems that modernization and the rapid changes in the environment create in our lives
  • 100 Hectares of Understanding by Jaakko Kahilianiemi (Finland)
    an encounter with the finnish forest with a playful and open approach.
  • The Tapestry In My Room by Lucie Khahoutian (Armenia)
    between collage and photography, this series illustrates the constant dichotomy of her vision of the world.
