TOTTORI

thanks for the support to Iren

Tottori starts from a fictional short story written in Italian while traveling in Japan.

It’s the story of a strange astronomical phenomenon, a celestial event, the moon over Tottori that suddenly, one night, appears way bigger than usual. The story opens by narrating how the city reacts, and then focuses on Takeshi, our protagonist, and his encounter with the giant moon, one night in March. The fictional story becomes photography, illustration, and video: a multimedia work inspired by the dunes of a small and quiet city on the west coast of Japan.

A world made of fantasy and mystery, an unfinished dream,  lit by the light of a giant moon, since ever mate of dreamers and lost souls.
