As I was interested in understanding more about my family identity, I looked back at my family album. I then associated some of my family stories, I felt were missing from it, with the photographs. The result is almost a sense of a surreality where the stories seem at odds with the pictures and the boundaries between fantasy and reality are blurry. In ‘My Odd Family Memories’ I investigate the subject of Memory as something manipulated by ourself and not necessarily as a mirror of true facts.
