class=\"blockquote-text\">Il primo uomo che, avendo recinto un terreno, ebbe l&#8217;idea di proclamare questo \u00e8 mio, e trov\u00f2 altri cos\u00ec ingenui da credergli, costui \u00e8 stato il vero fondatore della societ\u00e0 civile. Quanti delitti, quante guerre, quanti assassinii, quante miserie e quanti orrori avrebbe risparmiato al genere umano colui che, strappando i pali o colmando il fosso, avesse gridato ai suoi simili: \u201cGuardatevi dall&#8217;ascoltare questo impostore. Se dimenticherete che i frutti della terra sono di tutti e che la terra non \u00e8 di nessuno, sarete perduti!&#8220;<\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<h3><\/h3>\n<p>Mentre in passato il cactus veniva piantato per definire limiti e\u00a0<strong>confini<\/strong>\u00a0per ogni propriet\u00e0, per controllare i movimenti esterni e interni, oggi stiamo assistendo a una proliferazione di confini e limiti che assumono la forma di muri, barriere di filo metallico e recinzioni. Viviamo in una nuova epoca storica, in cui l\u2019ostilit\u00e0 di una pianta di cactus \u00e8 insufficientemente nociva, quindi vengono erette barriere di filo metallico per sostenerla.<\/p>\n<p>Il confine di ieri \u00e8 oggi raddoppiato e fortificato da un nuovo confine\u2026<br \/>\nL\u2019oppressore di ieri \u00e8 oggi oppresso, \u201clo strumento di protezione ha bisogno di essere protetto\u201d<br \/>\nLa serie \u201c<strong>Cactus<\/strong>\u201d \u00e8 un progetto in evoluzione che segue la storicit\u00e0 delle costruzioni territoriali, concentrandosi su conflitti e legami tra i vecchi confini naturali e i nuovi confini industriali. Prima ancora del fatto che tali confini esercitano un impatto politico, economico e vitale sulla terra, le persone e la natura, la serie \u201cCactus\u201d testimonia questa escalation di oppressione.<\/p>\n<h4>Intensive Beirut<\/h4>\n<p>Uno sguardo all\u2019orizzonte, da Sidone a Beirut.<\/p>\n<p>Beirut \u00e8 una citt\u00e0 in cui i monumenti non possono svilupparsi. E ci\u00f2 si manifesta sotto forma di una\u00a0<strong>conoscenza sfocata<\/strong>. Si affronta l\u2019aspetto drammatico dei confini, quelli segnati e quelli meno visibili ma altrettanto marcati. Ha studiato Ingegneria agraria all\u2019American University di Beirut prima di dedicarsi ai video e all\u2019arte con una specializzazione al Palais de Tokyo a Parigi e un post-diploma conseguito all\u2019\u00c9cole nationale sup\u00e9rieure des Beaux-Arts, sempre a Parigi.
