fusion-text-2\"><p><i>Bilateral<\/i>\u00a0evoca<strong>\u00a0il passaggio degli esuli<\/strong>\u00a0attraverso l\u2019Italia meridionale e le Alpi, mostrandolo o lasciandolo intuire, alla ricerca delle tracce. \u00c8 anche un lavoro fotografico sul\u00a0<strong>paesaggio<\/strong>, da entrambi i lati del confine, da un mondo all\u2019altro.<\/p>\n<p>In un clima sociale di diffidenza nei confronti dei media e pi\u00f9 in particolare delle immagini, l\u2019artista ha cercato di\u00a0<strong>fotografare e ascoltare le persone<\/strong>, soprattutto quelle che attraversano o cercano di attraversare i confini. Ma la sfida di questo nuovo lavoro \u00e8 anche rappresentare\u00a0<strong>coloro che lottano per rendere il mondo meno violento,<\/strong>\u00a0mobilitandosi nei luoghi in cui vivono come modo per riparare alla violenza: dove l\u2019esilio incontra l\u2019accoglienza.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Invisibili<\/strong>\u00a0per la maggior parte del tempo e tuttavia padroni della loro stessa immagine, anche\u00a0<strong>i responsabili delle decisioni<\/strong>\u00a0devono essere mostrati. Sono ritratti altrove e in modo differente, in stanze segrete o in convegni internazionali sui grandi media. Essi sono intercambiabili, non hanno volto ma hanno responsabilit\u00e0. I suoi progetti sono il risultato di lunghi periodi di immersione per comprendere la complessit\u00e0 e restituire ci\u00f2 che, al di l\u00e0 dei numeri, dei flussi, delle mappe, dei dati geopolitici e dei mezzi di informazione, costituisce il cuore di percorsi ed esperienze personali.<\/p>\n<p>Christophe Gallois<\/p>\n<p>Vincitore di una borsa di studio al CNAP (fondo per la fotografia documentaria contemporanea) nel 2012 e del premio Le Bal-ADAGP de la jeune cr\u00e9ation nel 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Realizza la prima mostra monografica,\u00a0<i>La Chance,<\/i>\u00a0al CRAC Languedoc-Roussillon di S\u00e8te nel 2014. Il suo progetto durato due anni in Tunisia nel campo profughi di Choucha (2012-2014), \u00e8 stato il tema di una mostra personale al Bal di Parigi nel 2015, e di una pubblicazione presso le edizioni Filigranes. Nello stesso anno, ha ricevuto la menzione speciale della giuria agli incontri Plat(t)forme del Fotomuseum di Winterthur, una borsa di lavoro della FNAGP (Fondazione nazionale per le arti grafiche e plastiche) e il fondo di dotazione Agn\u00e8s b. per il progetto\u00a0<i>Les Naufrag\u00e9(e)s<\/i>\u00a0(Libia), in mostra all\u2019Istitut du Monde Arabe, nell\u2019ambito della Biennale dei fotografi del mondo arabo contemporaneo.<\/p>\n<p>Nel 2017 ha vinto il \u201cPrix Arendt du Mois europ\u00e9en de la photographie\u201d, in seguito alla sua mostra personale al MUDAM.<br \/>\nNello stesso anno ha esposto\u00a0<i>Fifty Fifty<\/i>, nell\u2019ambito dei Rencontres d\u2019Arles e Fotografia Europea, una mostra su una Libia dilaniata, tra guerra e sorte dei migranti.<\/p>\n<p>Nel 2019 ha vinto il programma R\u00e9sidence Sur Mesure (Istituto francese) e l\u2019assegnazione della fotografia Flux indetta dal CNAP (Ministero della cultura francese) per il progetto\u00a0<i>Bilateral<\/i>\u00a0fra Francia e Italia.<\/p>\n<p>Negli anni 2019-2020 ha risieduto presso Villa Medici a Roma.<\/p>\n<p>Nel 2020 ha diretto il suo primo film documentario-fiction\u00a0<i>Un Tipo Strano<\/i>\u00a0(45 min, Les films du d\u00e9troit).<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column
