class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><p>In un contesto di crisi climatica e di crollo della biodiversit\u00e0,<strong>\u00a0oltre 4.000 m\u00b2 di orti urbani sono stati distrutti per consentire la costruzione di una piscina per i Giochi Olimpici di Parigi 2024<\/strong>. Questi orti comunitari si trovano a meno di due chilometri dal centro di Parigi, ad\u00a0<strong>Aubervilliers<\/strong>, nella Seine-Saint-Denis, il dipartimento francese pi\u00f9 densamente popolato e con il minor numero di spazi verdi.<br \/>\nQuesta \u00e8 solo la prima fase di\u00a0<strong>un pi\u00f9 ampio programma di distruzione<\/strong>: in totale, oltre 10.000 m\u00b2 di orti saranno sostituiti da una stazione ferroviaria di treni Grand Paris Express e da un nuovo quartiere di hotel e uffici. Per opporsi ai piani di distruzione si \u00e8 costituito\u00a0<strong>un collettivo di difesa degli orti<\/strong>\u00a0(D\u00e9fense des Jardins des Vertus), composto dai cittadini i cui appezzamenti sono minacciati dalla demolizione. Alla fine del 2020 \u00e8 iniziata una lotta durata diversi mesi. Il movimento di opposizione \u00e8 cresciuto e ha ottenuto il sostegno della stampa.<br \/>\nPoich\u00e9 le dimostrazioni non erano sufficienti, il collettivo ha deciso di\u00a0<strong>occupare gli orti<\/strong>\u00a0il 23 maggio 2021, rinominandoli \u201cJardins \u00e0 D\u00e9fendre\u201d (in riferimento alla \u201cZone A D\u00e9fendre\u201d). Contemporaneamente \u00e8 stata avviata un\u2019azione legale per cercare di annullare la concessione edilizia.<br \/>\nIl 2 settembre 2021 l\u2019area \u00e8 stata evacuata dalla polizia per consentire l\u2019inizio della demolizione. Tuttavia, nel marzo 2022 il tribunale ha dato ragione ai cittadini e ha ordinato l\u2019immediata sospensione dei lavori.<br \/>\nNonostante questa vittoria, gli orti distrutti non saranno sostituiti, a causa dell\u2019opposizione del consiglio comunale. Vive e lavora a Parigi e a Ginevra, dove insegna alla Haute Ecole d\u2019Art et de Design.<br \/>\nDopo aver studiato arte alla Villa Arson a Nizza e all\u2019Ecole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure de la Photographie di Arles, e storia dell\u2019arte all\u2019Universit\u00e0 Panth\u00e9on-Sorbonne di Parigi, dalla met\u00e0 degli anni Novanta ha sviluppato una pratica fotografica impegnata, incentrata su temi quali la storia del mezzo stesso, il suo uso e il suo potenziale informativo.<\/p>\n<p>Sfidando l\u2019oggettivit\u00e0 del mezzo, stabilisce come elemento fondamentale la responsabilit\u00e0 del fotografo in termini di veridicit\u00e0 delle immagini prodotte. Al suo lavoro sono state dedicate mostre al Jeu de Paume (Parigi) nel 2010 e al Centre Georges Pompidou nel 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Le sue opere sono state acquisite da numerose collezioni private e pubbliche, tra cui il Mus\u00e9e d\u2019Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, la Tate Modern di Londra, il Fotomuseum Winterthur, il Mus\u00e9e National d\u2019Art Moderne, Centre Pompidou, Parigi e il Migros Museum di Zurigo. \u00c8 presente nelle gallerie Air de Paris, Romainville; Baronian, Bruxelles e Francesca Pia, Zurigo.
